ABSTRACT

This article analyses the development of Islamic finance in Morocco in recent years, following the Arab Spring and political reforms which have taken place in the country, as well as its economic situation and structure. After synthesising the genesis of Islamic banking in Morocco, and its network of Islamic financial institutions, the article will analyse the potential of the industry and the challenges it faces today.
